24 Aug 2008 - Young Farmers Pram Push Has The X Factor!

Worth ValleyYoung Farmers Club held their 25th Annual charity pram push last Sunday and raised £492 for Sue Ryder Care _Manorlands.  But this was no ordinary street collection, over 70 members, former members and friends of the Haworth based club pushed their themed prams, carts and buggies from the Bronte Hotel in Cross Roads to the WutheringHeights in Stanbury calling in at each pub on the way.

Club Chairman Andrew Feather was delighted with the event.  " I think it was the biggest turn out for 20 years and it helped make up fo rthe fact the Carneval was not on this year. The x factor mobile auditions buggy was a work of art and the show the WWE wrestling team put on in their ring at the top of main street was a huge hit withy the tourists."
